Overview

DevOps & Platform Engineering at Assistora

High-performing engineering teams deploy frequently, recover quickly and spend their time on product work rather than manual releases. That outcome depends on a well-designed delivery system: consistent pipelines, reproducible infrastructure, paved paths for developers and clear operational signals.

Assistora designs and implements that system end to end. We start from your current workflow, remove friction one constraint at a time, and leave behind a platform your teams understand, own and can extend.

Business challenges

The problems we help you solve.

  1. 01

    Slow, risky releases

Manual steps and long-lived branches make deployments infrequent, stressful and error-prone.

  2. 02

    Environment drift

Differences between development, staging and production cause bugs that only appear after release.

  3. 03

    Operational blind spots

Without useful telemetry, incidents are detected by customers and diagnosed by guesswork.

  4. 04

    Security left until the end

Vulnerabilities and misconfigurations are discovered late, when they are most expensive to fix.

Capabilities

What we deliver.

End-to-end devops & platform engineering expertise, from strategy through implementation and ongoing operation.
  • CI/CD Automation

Fast, cached pipelines with automated testing, artefact management, progressive delivery and one-click rollback.

  • Docker & Containerisation

Secure, minimal container images, multi-stage builds, image signing and registry governance.

  • Kubernetes

Production-grade clusters on EKS, GKE, AKS or self-managed, with autoscaling, policy, secrets and multi-tenancy designed in.

  • Terraform

Modular, versioned Terraform with remote state, policy checks and automated plans on every pull request.

  • GitOps

Declarative delivery with Argo CD or Flux so the state of every environment is visible, auditable and reversible in Git.

  • Infrastructure as Code

Every network, cluster, database and permission defined as reviewed code — reproducible across environments and regions.

  • DevSecOps

Dependency, container and IaC scanning, secrets detection and supply-chain controls built into the pipeline — not bolted on.

  • Site Reliability Engineering

Service-level objectives, error budgets, incident response practice and blameless post-incident reviews.

  • Observability

Unified metrics, logs and traces with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana, wired to meaningful alerts.

  • Deployment Automation

Blue-green, canary and feature-flag driven releases that reduce risk and make deploying a non-event.

  • Platform Engineering

Internal developer platforms with golden paths, templates and self-service environments that remove repeated toil.

Interactive pipeline

Every commit, from repository to production.

Stage 01 · Code Repository

Trunk-based development, pull-request checks and signed commits trigger every pipeline run.

  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Helm
  • Argo CD

Typical solutions

Where clients usually start.

  • 01

    Pipeline modernisation

Replace brittle build scripts with standardised, reusable pipelines across all repositories.

  • 02

    Kubernetes platform

A secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes platform with GitOps delivery and self-service namespaces.

  • 03

    Reliability programme

Introduce SLOs, on-call practice and observability for the services that matter most.

  • 04

    Internal developer platform

Golden-path templates that let teams create production-ready services in minutes.

Delivery process

How we deliver.

A clear, iterative path from discovery to measurable results.
  1. 01

    Discover

Workshops and technical discovery to understand goals, constraints, current systems and success measures.

  2. 02

    Measure the baseline

Map the value stream and capture delivery metrics such as lead time, deployment frequency and change failure rate.

  3. 03

    Design the platform

Define target pipelines, environments, branching strategy and platform boundaries.

  4. 04

    Automate incrementally

Roll out improvements service by service, proving value early and avoiding big-bang change.

  5. 05

    Enable & hand over

Document golden paths, pair with your engineers and leave the platform in your team's hands.

Business benefits

What it means for your business.

  • More frequent releases

Small, automated deployments replace large, risky release events.

  • Fewer incidents

Consistent environments and progressive delivery reduce change failures.

  • Faster recovery

Observability and rollback automation shorten time to restore service.

  • Happier engineers

Less toil and clearer paths mean more time spent building product.

FAQs

DevOps questions, answered.

Not always. For many workloads, managed services such as Cloud Run, App Service or ECS are simpler and cheaper. We recommend Kubernetes when its flexibility and ecosystem genuinely justify the operational investment.

Yes. We usually evolve existing tooling — standardising, speeding up and securing what you have — and only recommend new tools when there is a clear gain.

We use the widely adopted DORA metrics — deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate and time to restore service — alongside team feedback.

That is a design goal. We favour well-supported open standards, document every decision and pair with your engineers throughout delivery.
